We are pleased to announce there has been further success for Redline Campers at the Practical Motorhome Awards, with the Redline Sport GT also scooping a coveted prize.
Joining the Redline Classic in receiving recognition, we can today reveal the Redline Sport GT has also been named a ‘Highly Commended’ Choice in the 2025 edition of the awards.
Getting the nod in the ‘Best Small Campervan’ category, the recently released Redline Sport GT was noted as being ‘a great little flexible van’ in the magazine’s award coverage.
Available on the new Ford Transit Custom and coming soon to the VW T7, this was noted by award judge, Peter Byrne, who had the following to say:
“Redline is certainly looking ahead, because while this new model has been built on the Ford Transit Custom, it has been designed to fit just as easily on the new VW T7 platform as soon as it becomes widely available. The Daventry-based converter is keen to take advantage of the closer working relationship between the two base vehicle providers.”
Commenting on our new model further, Peter said:
“Aside from whatever base you choose, this small camper van is a clever conversion that includes a two-burner gas hob, a 12V fridge and a 45-litre onboard water tank. The exclusive to Redline twin-polycarbonate rising roof comes with a noise reducing front spoiler, so long journeys on motorways can become more bearable if you’re doing a UK road trip, for instance. The roof canvas has twin mesh ventilation, and a large front window, and the roof bed includes a memory foam mattress.
Downstairs you will find a wireless charging pad among the electrical accessories, and we particularly like the way you can lift off part of the worktop to get access to even more storage space behind and below the drawers.”
We are honoured that the two newest models in the Redline range have been named as standout choices by Practical Motorhome. This comes just a few months after the Classic was reintroduced to the Redline range, and just a few weeks after the Redline Sport GT was launched at this year’s installment of the Motorhome & Caravan Show held at the NEC.
Announcements for the Practical Motorhome Awards are on-going, with the ‘Best campervan for everyday use’, ‘Best campervan for a family of 4’, ‘Best 2-berth campervan with shower and toilet’, ‘Best VW campervan’, and ‘Best campervan for solo travel’ categories all yet to be revealed.
