What will our campervan electric packs give you?
Electric Pack 1
Campervan leisure battery supply and installation
We will supply and install a 100Ah AGM leisure battery to your vehicle. A leisure battery is essential for campervans, as it will provide a steady and reliable source of power. This will provide you with 12V power for electrical items such as lights, fridges, and water pumps. A leisure battery is a must if you are looking to go off-grid and don’t want to be reliant on mains electricity.
Sterling battery to battery charger supply and installation
We will also supply and install a Sterling battery to battery charger. This is a high-performance DC-DC device that allows the leisure battery to be charged from your vehicle’s engine alternator whilst you are driving.
150W solar panel fitting
The final item we will fit as part of this electrical pack is a 150W solar panel. Drawing natural energy from the sun, the 150W solar panel is ideal for keeping the leisure battery topped up. This will provide sufficient power for lights, phone charging, and water pumps in your vehicle. Lightweight and flexible, we will install the solar panel to the roof of your vehicle.
Electric Pack 2
In addition to the above items, you will also receive the following with Electric Pack 2:
240V mains inlet supply and installation
Often referred to as a mains hook-up point, a 240V mains inlet is the standard way to connect your campervan to a campsite’s electricity supply. When plugged in, you will be able to use high-draw electrical appliances, which would quickly drain a standard leisure battery. This includes appliances like microwaves, air fryers, kettles, and hair dryers. If you have a 3-way fridge in your vehicle, you will be able to switch it to 240V mode to save your gas supply.
240V battery charger supply and installation
Sometimes called a mains charger or AC to DC charger, we will also supply and install a 240V battery charger to your vehicle. This is essentially a bridge between the standard household power received from the campsite’s electrical hook-up point and your vehicle’s 12V electrical system, and it will convert high-voltage AC power into low-voltage DC power so that you can safely charge your leisure battery.
Supply and installation of 2 x 240V sockets
To enable you to use standard household appliances and three-pin chargers for devices like laptops and smartphones, we will supply and install 2 x 240V sockets. These are just like the 3-pin plug sockets you will be more than used to at home, and will allow you to plug in normal plugs whilst connected to a campsite’s electrical hook-up.
How much do campervan electrics cost?
Our two campervan electric packs are priced at £1,499 and £1,999, respectively. Both of these prices are inclusive of VAT.
