What will a pop roof give me?
A pop top roof will provide you with a twin-polycarbonate roof, a double roof bed, and a scenic roof tent. Importantly though, it gives you valuable extra headroom in your vehicle, a place for up to two people to sleep, and views all around you.
Whether you plan to convert your van into a camper or you’re just leaving it as it is, we find pop top roofs are perfect for cooking, getting changed, and for providing you with a comfortable place to sleep whilst on the road.
About our pop top roofs
GRP roof with high-density foam core and an aerodynamic front spoiler
All of our pop top roofs are fitted with our own GRP roof.
Exclusive to Redline Campers, this is manufactured with a high-density foam core for strength and insulation, and is paired with our aerodynamic front spoiler for noise reduction.
Scenic design
Our pop top roof tents are designed to provide excellent views and ventilation thanks to their scenic design. The large mesh and canvas side windows provide much-needed ventilation, whilst the panoramic front window allows you to take in the views around you.
Slimline profile
With a slimline profile, our pop top roofs add minimal height to your vehicle when closed. When fitted to a VW T5, VW T6, T6.1, or New VW Transporter (T7), the roof is extended from 1.99m to 2.10m. Whilst this is the same for both first and second generation Ford Transit and Ford Tourneo Custom vans, with all of these vehicles measuring 2.10m once the pop top roof has been installed.
Equipped with stainless steel elevating roof hinges
Unlike inferior products, our roof hinges are made from stainless steel, so they won’t suffer from flaking paint or rusting.
Comes with a pull-down double roof bed
Every pop top roof we install comes complete with a pull-down double roof bed. Fully upholstered, this provides sleeping space for up to two people and is provided with a memory foam mattress.

We undertake pop top roof installation from our dedicated campervan production facility near Daventry, Northamptonshire. Located in the small village of Watford Gap, we are situated on the A5 and are less than 10 minutes/under 5 miles from Daventry town centre, and are around 15 minutes/7.5 miles from Rugby town centre. We are also very close to the M1, with junction 18 just a five-minute drive away, making it easy to reach us whether you are traveling northbound or southbound.
