At Redline Campers, we design, develop and build our campervans in-house at our dedicated production facility near Daventry, Northamptonshire.

As every aspect of our campervan conversions is undertaken by us, we are able to ensure every campervan is equipped with off-grid capabilities. We do this by installing a comprehensive range of components to make our campers off-grid ready. This includes Dometic hobs powered by replaceable and refillable gas bottles, easily refillable on-board water tanks, and leisure batteries suitable for powering the lights, water pumps, and fridge.

Take your off-grid adventures even further off the beaten track

If you’re someone who would like to go even further off the beaten track for prolonged periods of time, we are also pleased to be able to offer an enhanced off-grid pack. This reduces the reliance on electric hook-up points, and allows you to stray from traditional campsites. Our enhanced off-grid pack comprises the following items:

• • Dometic 1800W inverter for powering the microwave and plug sockets when not connected to mains electricity
  • 220W solar power delivered by two slimline roof-mounted solar panels
  • 340Ah LiFePO4 lithium battery for longer off-grid power capabilities

For maximum versatility, our off-grid pack optimises the way power is utilised in several ways, including the use of automatic changeover. When the system detects 240V shore power, the inverter will disconnect and ensure this power source is utilised instead. Whilst the pack provides an on/off switch to isolate the inverter when it is not in use, and ignition relay ensures the inverter is isolated when the ignition is on.

As the dedicated campervan conversion brand from Venture Caravans & Motorhomes, we’ve used, sold, and dealt with just about every leisure vehicle you can imagine, from manufacturers from all over the globe. It is this experience that has provided us with the knowledge to know exactly what an off-grid campervan should comprise.

For your peace of mind, we are also amongst only a handful of campervan converters in the UK who are both VCA Whole Vehicle Type Approved and an NCC Approved Manufacturer. It is these accolades that enable us to prove the quality and safety of our conversions.
