VW T7 Conversion

In addition to offering pre-built New VW Transporter (T7) campervans for sale on our forecourts in Daventry and Hitchin, we are also pleased to offer a built to order service on this platform too.

With our built to order service, you will be able to select everything from the specification of the New VW Transporter (T7) base vehicle, the body colour, the transmission, and more. This will allow you to choose from Commerce, Commerce Plus, and Commerce Pro trim levels. Whilst new for 2026, Sportline and Commerce Pro S trim levels will also be available from Volkswagen too.

Body colours for the New VW Transporter (T7) are currently available in metallic and solid paint options. These include the following metallic colour options; Graphite Dust Metallic, Light Grey Metallic, Mid Blue Metallic, Midnight Black Metallic, and Warm Green Metallic. Whilst solid colour options include Clear White, Dark Indigo Blue, Intensive Red, and Stone Grey.

Our built to order service will also allow you to choose from a manual or an automatic/DSG campervan. We also offer both pre-built campervans in both of these options too:

VW T7 Campervan Specification

When it comes to the campervan conversion, we currently offer three different conversion models on this platform. These are our Practical Motorhome Award-winning Redline Sport GT and Redline Sport GT XS campervan models, and our Trekker day van model.

All of these are available with the following specification items:

• Thermo-Shield construction with 8mm foil back foam and 25mm Dacron insulation
• Automotive-quality lining with built-in access panel
• Mobiframe seat/bed system
• Multi-use rail floor system
• GRP two-piece pop-top roof and Cabanon scenic roof tent (optional on our Trekker model)
• Fully glazed habitation area with two flush-fit sliding windows (optional on our Trekker model)

• Bespoke power management system and wiring loom compliant with BS EN1648 (optional on our Trekker model)

In addition to the above, our Sport GT and Sport GT campervan models also come with features including lightweight precision CNC machined furniture, Dometic fridges, Dometic combined gas hobs and sinks, onboard water tanks, waste water tanks, and LED lighting throughout.

VW T7 Vehicle Features

Headlights, Rear Lights, and Interior Lights

The VW T7’s headlights and rear lights have been developed to offer stylish design and a safer driving experience.

Blending style with functionality, the new Transporter’s LED headlights will provide a clear and powerful beam that will adapt to the road ahead to ensure the safety of you, your passengers and those around you. The headlights are complemented by separate LED daytime running lights that add a distinctive, contemporary touch.

Continuing the theme of stylish design and a safer driving experience, you will find that the T7’s rear lights are equally as striking and will enhance the vehicle’s confident presence on the road.

To the interior of the new Transporter, you will find practical overhead lighting and super-bright LED lights to the rear, as standard. Our campervan conversion adds one touch LED lighting including LED strip lighting on the lockers above the kitchen, floor level LED lighting, and elevated roof lighting.

Cabin Design

Making the Transporter more accessible than ever, the T7’s cabin has been designed to be more car-like. This means you are presented with a driving experience which is made for comfort on long journeys. To achieve this, the cabin is equipped with ergonomically designed seats which will provide all-day comfort.

To enhance your driving experience further, the cabin features cleverly designed storage and cup holders, along with a 230V power hub. Providing additional convenience, the T7 features a folding middle seat which offers an incredibly versatile flat surface – whether this is used for working or as an additional space for meal times, this will come in handy.

Digital Cockpit

Adding to your driving experience, the driver’s area is packed full of technology. This technology includes a multi-function steering wheel, a configurable 12-inch instrument cluster and a 13-inch touchscreen infotainment system.

For your entertainment and navigation needs, the touchscreen infotainment system features a DAB+ radio, wireless App Connect and Connect1 mobile online services which connects your smartphone to your vehicle.

Connectivity

Continuing with connectivity, the T7 offers a wide range of handy ports and chargers to keep you powered up and connected on the go. These include 2 x 15W USB ports in the dashboard for charging your smartphone and connecting it to the infotainment system, and both a USB-C and USB-A port in the centre console.

Driver Assistance Systems

Enhancing the T7’s safety credentials, the vehicle is equipped with cutting edge driver assistance systems. These include Autonomous Emergency Braking to detect potential collisions, Lane Assist to help with your driving position, and side curtain airbags to provide additional protection in the event of a collision.

Parking Assist

When it comes to parking, especially in tight spaces, the standard rear parking sensors will make manoeuvres easier and help reduce the risk of costly parking scrapes.
