That’s typically a 14-minute drive away. It’s not much longer if you plan to travel by public transport, either, as there are direct bus and train routes from Rugby.

At our Watford Gap branch, you will be able to find a large range of VW and Ford-based campervan conversions for sale on our forecourt. Every campervan we have for sale has been converted by us on-site at our dedicated production facility. However, this isn’t the only way to buy one of our campervans. As we convert these ourselves, we offer three ways to buy. You can either purchase one of our pre-built campervans directly from our forecourt, or you can have a campervan built to order. Just 7.5 miles away from Rugby town centre, you will be able to find our 5000 sq. ft. dedicated campervan production facility. It is here where our six campervan models and one day van model are all built. Whether you are buying a campervan from our forecourt or getting a campervan built to order, all aspects of the conversion will have been undertaken by us on-site.

As part of Venture Caravans & Motorhomes, we have been serving the people of Rugby and surrounding villages like Willoughby, Dunchurch, Clifton upon Dunsmore, and Long Lawford for over 55 years. Renowned in the industry and across the region, many people will know someone who has bought a caravan, a motorhome, or a campervan from Venture – or maybe even a tent, if they’re old enough! It was the industry experience gained from selling all kinds of leisure vehicles that led us to launch Redline Campers.

Redline Campers was born from our experiences of seeing good and bad from other campervan converters. Based on these experiences, we had a goal to produce campervans built with safety and quality at the forefront. And it’s a goal we are pleased to say we have achieved. Every campervan we offer is both VCA Whole Vehicle Type Approved and NCC Manufacturer Approved. This means they have been stringently tested by the National Caravan Council and the Vehicle Certification Agency, and are proven to exceed British and European safety standards.

Our campervan conversions are also award-winning, too, with Practical Motorhome honouring both our Sport GT model and our Classic model with awards. In addition to these two models, we also offer the Sport, Sport XS, and Sport + campervan models on the VW T6, T6.1, and first-generation Ford Transit Custom and Ford Tourneo Custom vehicle platforms. Whilst joining the Sport GT model on the New VW Transporter (T7), and second-generation Ford Transit Custom and Ford Tourneo Custom vehicle platforms is the Sport GT XS. If it’s a day van you are looking for, our Trekker model is available on all of the previously mentioned vehicle platforms.

Get a campervan built to order

Choose built-to-order and choose a whole host of different options for your new campervan. Start by choosing your base vehicle, and then you get to choose from our six campervan models and one day van model. From here, there are furniture choices, flooring choices, upholstery choices, and more. Plus all kinds of base vehicle extras, and campervan extras like solar panels, diesel heaters, awnings, and a range of other things.

You even get to choose whether you supply your own van for conversion or have us source the van. Our built-to-order service is available on the following base vehicles – VW T5, VW T6, VW T6.1, New VW Transporter (T7), first and second generation Ford Tourneo Custom, and first and second generation Ford Transit Custom.

By rail

If catching the train from Rugby, you will find that direct trains are frequent with two trains an hour from Rugby railway station to Long Buckby railway station. Just one stop away, the train journey should only take 8 to 9 minutes. It’s then just a five-minute drive from Long Buckby station to our branch in Watford Gap.

If you are travelling by train, let us know in advance, and we will be happy to collect you from the station and drop you back.

By bus

If you prefer to travel by bus, the Stagecoach Midlands 96 bus runs directly from Rugby town centre to the bus shelter in Watford village, from Monday to Saturday. With the bus journey taking around 44 minutes, you will then need to walk for around 19 minutes to our branch. However, we don’t expect you to do this. So if you are travelling by bus, let us know, and we will arrange for someone to come and collect you when you’ve exited the bus.
