Can campervans go on the Channel Tunnel?

Yes, campervans are permitted to go on the Channel Tunnel using the spacious, single deck carriages available from LeShuttle.

Designed to accommodate vehicles higher than 1.85 metres, LeShuttle’s single deck carriages are twice as high as the double deck carriages designed for standard cars. This means there is ample room for the VW and Ford campervans we offer which are 2.1m in height.

As the campervans we offer measure between 4.9m and 5.4m, you will also find a campervan will take up around the same amount of space as many modern estate cars and 4x4s. This is far less space than the 18m maximum size permitted by LeShuttle!
