What is the difference between a Startline and a Highline VW Transporter?
Startline and Highline refer to the trim levels available on the VW Transporter T6.1. The difference between these trim levels comes down to the equipment that the vehicle includes. Below, we have detailed the key equipment included with both the Startline and the Highline trim levels of the VW Transporter T6.1.
Startline
- Crosswind Assist
- Automatic Post-Collision Braking System
- Brake Assist system
- Front Assist with City Emergency Braking System
- Electromechanical steering
- Composition Colour DAB+ radio system with 6.5 inch touch-screen and four loudspeakers, SD card slot, Bluetooth® hands-free and two USB interfaces (type-C) in dashboard
- Electrically adjustable and heated exterior door mirrors
- Daytime running lights
Startline with Business Pack
Additionally, you may come across VW Transporter T6.1 vehicles with the trim level ‘Startline with Business Pack’. This refers to an upgraded pack that will have been specified when the vehicle was built. In addition to the equipment included with the Startline trim level, Startline with Business Pack adds the following:
- Rear parking sensors
- Climatic air conditioning system
- Anti-theft alarm system
Highline
In addition to the equipment included with the Startline trim level, the Highline trim level includes the following:
- Body-coloured exterior door mirror housings, door handles and bumpers
- Automatic headlight activation with separate daytime running lights, leaving home and manual coming home function
- Electrically foldable exterior door mirrors
- Windshield wiper intermittent control with rain sensor
- Climatic air conditioning system
- Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC) with speed limiter including Front Assist with City Emergency Braking System
- Anti-theft alarm system with interior monitoring in cab, backup horn, towing protection and SAFELOCK
- Front and rear parking sensors
